Mr. George Walker, Sr. was born September 15, 1923 in Dooly County, Georgia to the late Mattie Cobbs and the late Elijah Walker. A call of love and togetherness led him to be joined in holy matrimony to Ms. Kadessa Harris Walker on February 22, 1947. This union was blessed with nine children and one grandchild who they reared from birth.
Mr. Walker retired from Southern Frozen Foods after 44 years of dedicated service.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted children, Gloria Jean Coleman, Joann Paul, and Carolyn Walker of Largo, Florida, George Walker, Jr. of Montezuma, Georgia, Robert Louis (Laverne) Walker and Edward (Wynell) Walker of Oglethorpe, Georgia, Timothy Walker, Michael Walker, John Thomas (Sarah Venia) Walker, and Shakira Walker of Montezuma, Georgia, and Onita (Ernest) McDonald of Oglethorpe, Georgia; 37 grandchildren, 125 great grandchildren, 16 great great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
