Melvin McCluster, Officiating OBITUARY Mr. Eddie Mack Giles affectionately known as “Bubba” was born on November 23, 1942 in Sumter County, Georgia to the late Sylvester Giles and the late Marie Giles. He received his education in the public school system of Sumter County. In 1964 he enlisted in the United States Army and served faithfully until his discharge in 1966. Mr. Giles died on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at his home in Americus, Georgia. Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Kimberly Giles of Atlanta, Georgia; one sister Ms. Jessie Giles of Brooklyn, New York; one brother, Calvin Giles of Augusta, Georgia; two aunts: Mrs. Ada Washington of Americus, Georgia and Mrs. Bernice Washington of Clearwater, Florida; one uncle, Eddie Washington of Clearwater, Florida; five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
