Funeral Services For Mrs. Christine Clinkscale Smith  Saturday, August 28, 2010 11:00 A.M. Bethlehem Baptist Church Plains, Georgia Rev. Leonard Boston, Pastor Rev. Leon Pace, Officiating Interment Greater New Lebanon Cemetery OBITUARY Mrs. Christine Clinkscale Smith was born in Sumter County, Georgia on September 5, 1949 to the late Leola Alexander and Willie May Clinkscale and was reared by Bertha Kay Clinkscale. She was educated in the public schools of Sumter County. She was preceded in death by five siblings: Jena Barner, Delarene Sims, Robert Clinkscale, James Clinkscale and William Clinkscale, Jr. Mrs. Smith died on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at the Phoebe-Sumter Medical Center. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted companion of 19 years John Lee Sims; two children: Gloria Clinkscale and Benjamin Smith; four sisters: Alice Bradley, Fannie Bradley, Willie Bell Jones and Ernestine Brown; two brothers: Andrew Clinkscale and Jimmy Lee Sims. Five grandchildren, two great grandchildren a devoted friend Wendy Adams and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
