Funeral Services For Mr. Silas Gibson

Richard Jordan, Officiating Obituary Silas Gibson was born on November 01, 1945 in Albany Georgia to the late Chester Solomon and the late Lottie Dasher. He attended Dougherty County High School where he enjoyed sports and music. He and his twin brother were known throughout the county as the Disco Twins.
On Sunday morning Feb 22, 2009 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Silas went peacefully to be with his heavenly father. He leaves to cherish his memories a son Silas Gibson Jr. and daughter-in-law Tiffany Gibson; three sisters: Aleen Johnson (Arthur) of Warner Robins, Georgia, Dorothy Givens and Mamie Harvey (Johnny) of Miami Florida; two sisters-in-law Bessie Solomon and Betty Evans; his ex-wife, Annie Doris Gibson, loving friends Debra Wilson and children; three grandchildren; a special friend Diane Lowe and a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends
