In Remembrance Of Veteran Joseph Fuller

Dr. Christopher McKinstry, Officiating OBITUARY Veteran Joseph Fuller To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted Ecclesiastes 3:1-4. Mr. Joseph (Joe) Fuller was born in Sumter County on November 2, 1950 to the parentage of the late Ms. Catherine Fuller and the late Mr. Florrel Paschal. He joined the New Pineville Baptist Church at an early age. He was a 1969 graduate of A. S. Staley High School. After graduation, he joined the U. S. Army where he served for 9 years. While serving his country he received many awards and honors including, national Defense Service Medal, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Vietnam Service medal and three Bronze Service Stars, Meritorious Unit Citation, Good Conduct Medal Clasp, Bronze 2 loops and Marksman (Rifle). He was honorably discharged in 1979. Mr. Fuller died on Friday, March 13, 2009 at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia He leaves to cherish his memories his brother Florzell (Annie) Paschal of Americus, Georgia, his sisters, Margaret Ann Dismuke of Plant City, Florida, Catherine Paschal (Buddy Sellars) of Leesburg, Georgia, and Melissa Paschal of Americus, Georgia; two uncles, Mr. Johnny Gaines and Mr. Otis (Berdia)White of Americus, Georgia; aunt Inez Lockhart of New Brunswick, New Jersey; nieces and nephews Crimesha (Medrick) Blaise, Lawrenceville, Georgia, Florzell (Yvonne) Paschal III of Albany, Georgia, Marquis Paschal of Marietta, Georgia, Michael Dismuke of Plant City, Florida, Jason Arnett and Kevin Paschal of Americus, Georgia, and other relatives and friends also survive.
