Funeral Services For Deacon George Johnson 
Friday, May 1, 2009 1:00 P.M. Andersonville National Cemetery Andersonville, Georgia Obituary Mr. George Johnson was born in Ft Gaines, GA to the late Pearlie Bankston Johnson and the late Eugene Johnson. At an early age he joined the Mitchell Grove Baptist Church and attended the Mitchell Grove-Randolph County Training School. After serving in the United States Army during World War II, Mr. George returned home and married Mrs. Fannie Mae James and they spent many beautiful years together. Mr. George later moved his church membership to the Mt. Olive baptist where he served as a Deacon. Mr. George died on Friday, April 24, 2009 at Joe-Anne Burgin Nursing Home in Cuthbert Georgia. Left to cherish his memory is his devoted wife Mrs. Fannie Mae Johnson of Americus, GA; three grandchildren: Felicia Brown Parker, Yolanda Brown and George Patrick Brown; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth White; nine nieces: Lousie Brown, Evelyn McDonald, Karen Johnson, Beldra Johnson, Linda King, Thelma E. Love, Agnes Johnson, Deborah Johnson and Sharon Ayers; four nephews: Robert Johnson, Danny Johnson, Charlie Johnson and Gregory Prather. Several other relatives and friends also survive
