Sims, Pastor Obituary Mr. Tommie Stewart, Jr. was born in Sumter County, Georgia on June 27, 1948 to Mrs. Hattie Harvey Stewart and Mr. Tommie Stewart, Sr. Mr. Stewart died on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. Left to mourn his passing are his parents Mrs. Hattie Harvey Stewart and Mr. Tommie Stewart, Sr. both of Americus, Georgia; five sisters: Gloria Bell, Jackie Stewart, Cheryl Stewart, Louise Wilkerson and Barbara Jones all of Americus, Georgia; eight brothers: Lewis (Zandra) Stewart, Curtis Stewart, Eddie Stewart and Larry Stewart all of Americus, Georgia, Michael Stewart, Fred (Berndine) Stewart, Paul (Linda) Stewart and William (Sonya) Stewart all of Atlanta, Georgia. Several other relatives and friends also survive.
