Funeral Services For Mrs. Leola Marshall Howard

George Draine, Officiating OBITUARY Mrs. Leola Marshall Howard To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted Ecclesiastes 3:1-4. Mrs. Leola M. Howard was born on September 6, 1920 in Webster County, Georgia to the late Will Marshall and the Late Rosa Simpson Marshall Kitchens. She received her education from the Webster County Scholl System. At an early age joined the St. Mark AME Church. She later moved her membership to the Church of Christ in Preston, Georgia where she severed faithfully until her health failed. Mrs. Howard retired from the Lillian Carter Nursing Home. She was married to the late Fred Howard and to this union two daughters were born. Mrs. Howard died peacefully at her home Wednesday, July 1, 2009. Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters: Mrs. Geraldine Richards of Plains, Georgia and Mrs. Carolyn Howard McDaniel of East Brunswick, New Jersey; One step sister, Mrs. Addie Wright of Plains, Georgia; one step brother Mr. Homer Kitchens of Texas; two sisters-in-law: Mrs. Arline Marshall of Trenton, New Jersey and Mrs. Edith (C.C.) King of Miami, Florida; five grand children including two devoted grandchildren Mrs. Sherry Glover and Darrell Howard; eleven great grandchildren, six great, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
