Perry Grove Cemetery Leslie, Georgia OBITUARY Mr. Charlie Rush was born in Sumter County, Georgia on May 16, 1948 to the late Mr. James Wilborn Sr. and the late Mrs. Mamie M. Wilborn. He was married to the late Mrs. Dorothy M. Lyles Wilborn, and in 1992 they were blessed with one daughter, Ms. Latricia Deshavone Wilborn. Charlie retired from the Pulp Wood Industry. On Wednesday, July 22, 2009, God whispered in Charlie’s ear granting him his eternal rest. Left to cherishing his memories, are his beloved daughter, Latricia Deshawn Wilborn (Dwight Chavis) of Americus, Georgia; seven brothers: Mr. James Wilborn (Shem), Mr. Jerome Wilborn (Maria), Henry L. Wilborn (Nellie), Leon Wilborn (Shirley), Robert L. Wilborn (Johnise), Mr. Roosevelt Wilborn, and Mr. Willie J. Wilborn all of Americus; four sisters: Ms. Pearlie M. Longstreet (Lynnwood), Margie Wilborn (Andrea), Bobbie Wilborn (Johnny) and Ms. Shirley A. Wilborn all of Americus., Georgia; one devoted son-in Law Mr. Ricky Goober Sr. seven aunts: Mrs. Shirley Robinson (Eddie), of Vera Beach, Florida. Carrie Lee Wilborn, Ms. Edith McKnight and Ms. Eula Merritt, all of Americus, Georgia, Mrs. Laverne Williams of Desoto, Georgia, Ms. Lois Brown of Smyrna, Georgia and Ms. Martha Johnson of Pineview, Georgia; one uncle; the late Mr. John Wilborn also of Americus Georgia; four grandchildren; Ricky L. Goober Jr. Makayla T. Goober, MyKyle T. Goober and Tarrarcus J. Goober, all of Americus, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
