Funeral Services For Mr. Sam Russell Cross  Saturday, November 28, 2009 11:00 A.M. Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church Americus, Georgia OBITUARY Mr. Sam Russell Cross was born in Ellaville, Georgia on August 10, 1968 to the parentage of Sam Cross (Pauline) and the late Mildred Cross. He received his education in the Americus City School System. He joined the Campbell Chapel A. M. E. Church at an early age and later moved his membership to Allen Chapel A. M. E. under the leadership of Rev. Nathaniel Veal. He worked for numerous companies in the Americus area. He had a devoted family friend Ms. Tammie Williams for 23 years. He was preceded in death by a sister Mary Johnson. Mr. Cross died on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at the Lillian Carter Nursing Center "Lil Sam" leaves to cherish his memory, his long time companion, Tammie Williams of Americus, Gone daughter, Nicole Charmane Cross, Americus, GA, five sons: Trey Cross, Kendrick Cross (Jennifer), Corey (Samantha) Williams, Jeffrey Cross, and Justin Cross all of Americus, GA; three brothers: Sam (Priscilla) Cross, Kenneth (Mary) Cross, both of Americus, GA and Dennis Cross, Littleton, NC, three sisters: Earnie (Wilbon) Tyson, Plains, GA, Linda Cross and Mildred (Sonny) Wright both of Americus, GA; one step sister: Rosalyn L. Hall, Americus, GA, two step brothers: Thaddeous (Katrina) Hall and John Lewis Hall both of Americus, GA; five aunts: Betty (James) Millner, Polly (Johnny) Walker, Francis Waters, Jan Waters, Ree Waters all of Americus GA. four uncles: Albert (Shirley) Sampson Wally GA, George (Gloria) Cross, Valdosta, GA, Jimmy (Betty) Americus, GA, Willie B. Cross, Burton Beach, Florida; Two grandchildren: Addison Williams, Americus, GA, Antavious Mckinnon and a host of other relatives and family friends also survive.
