Mr. Johnny Clyde Dodson "Bo Dodson"

Tommie Jordan, Officiating Obituary Mr. Johnny Clyde Dodson affectionately known as “Bo Dodson” was born on September 21, 1948 to the late Mr. Tommy Lee and Eula Wafford Dodson at an early age he joined the Mount Salem Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. J. L. Wilson. He attended the schools of Sumter County. He was employed briefly with Moss Construction, Kyle Tindol Vault Company, Gailey Industry and The City of Americus as a truck driver. “Bo" died on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at the Phoebe Sumter Hospital in Americus, Georgia. He is survived by three sisters: Mrs. Mamie Dodson Baker, Mrs. Lorene Dodson Rouland and Miss Lula Dodson all of Americus, Georgia; Aunts Mrs Carrie Lou Adams of Tampa, Fla. Susie Wafford of Americus, Georgia, Mattie (Silas) Allen, Annie Mae (Paul) Allen, all of Americus, Georgia, Ida (Mack) McDuffie of Fayetteville NC, Bertha Jewel Holt and Evangelist Mary (Eddie) Greene, Americus, Georgia; Devoted friends Brenda Tyner, Susie Lee Johnson, Sammie Stone and Maggie Bowens all of Americus, Georgia; one sister-in-Law Stella L. Dodson of Americus, Georgia; several other relatives and friends also survive.
