Larry Sims, Officiating   Interment Staley Memorial Gardens       OBITUARY Mr. Aaron Baker, Sr. was born on March 1, 1951 in Sumter County GA to the late Mr. Lynn Baker and Mrs. Hazel Baker. He was a dedicated Deacon of the Lebanon Baptist Church. On January 3, 1969 he married Ms. Everlene Holmes and this union was blessed with one son, Aaron Baker, Jr. Aaron was employed as a Conductor at CSX Railroad where he retired after many years of services.   Left to cherish his memory is his son Aaron Baker, Jr. his mother Mrs. Hazel Baker; two brothers, James L. (Earnestine), Baker and Alphonson (Tammy) Baker; two sisters: Juanita (Donald) Idelette and Ella Ruth (David) Dodson; five brothers-in-law: Mr. Jerry Lee Holmes, Mr. Tyrone (Janice) Holmes, Allan Holmes all of Americus, Georgia, Mr. Earl (Laketta) Holmes of McDonough, Georgia,  James Clarence Holmes, Jr. of Denver, Colorado; six grandsons: Seaman Jamar Baker (U.S. Navy Station), Seaman Justin Davis both of Iraq, Terrell Baker of Valdosta, Georgia, Jestin Thomas of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Davion Shorts of Atlanta, Georgia and Alexander Baker of Douglasville, Georgia; and a host of other relatives and friends also survive.
