Leroy Patterson, Officiating Interment Staley Memorial Gardens OBITUARY Bennie Glover was born September 19, 1933 in Ellaville, Georgia to the late George Glover, Sr. and Mrs. Edna Willie Black Glover. He received his education in the school systems of Schley and Sumter counties. He lived most of his adult life in Orlando, Florida and Jersey City, New Jersey. He was a truck driver before retiring and moving back to Americus, Georgia. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Isaiah Glover and James Thomas “T” Glover and one sister, Georgia Nell Glover. Bennie died on Sunday, August 8, 2010 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus, Georgia. Those left to cherish his memory are to sisters: Maxerine Harvey of Jacksonville, Florida, and Gussie (Mae Ola) Boone of Norwalk, California; one brother, George (Vivian) Glover, Jr. of Americus, Georgia. A host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and other relatives and friends also survive.
