Aaron Edmondson, Officiating Interment Bethel Primitive Baptist Cemetery Obituary Mrs. Pearly Mae Brown Cody was born in Smithville, Georgia on April 17, 1964 to the late William Brown, Sr. and Mattie Ruth Brown. She received her education in the Sumter and Lee County school systems. She was united in holy matrimony to Mark E. Cody on February 14, 2007. Pearly later became a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Albany, Georgia where she was a faithful member. She was preceded in death by one sister Clara Brown Wright. Pearly died on Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Mark E. Cody of Leesburg Georgia; two sons: Jeffery (Brooke) Brown of Perry, Florida and Travis (Cassidy) Brown of Albany, Georgia; one daughter, Catrina (Andre) Dismuke of Jacksonville, Florida; 10 grandchildren one that she raised as her own, Michael Robinson (Pooh); four brothers: William Brown Jr. of Ft. Pierce Florida, Otis Brown, Calvin Brown, and James Brown of Smithville, Georgia; eight sisters: Mattie (Bonnie) Russell, Bernice (Curtis) Brown, Yvette Dunning, Cora Brown, Estella (Willie) Clinkscale, Geneva Brown of Americus Georgia, Suzette Bullard of Perry, Florida and Viola (Sherman) Williams of Plains, Georgia; one loving God sister Mary H. Burton of Smithville, Georgia; Mother-in-law, Mrs. Katie M. Bonton Cody; four brothers-n-law Michael Cody, Rico Cody, Reginald (Sabrina) Cody and Israel Cody of Albany, Georgia; four sisters-in-law Beverly(Terry) Young of Moultrie, Georgia, Eyvonne (Willie Jr.) Jackson, Van Cody of Albany, Georgia and Sandra (Bishop White) of Michigan; two aunts: Lula Brown of Tallahassee, Florida and Stella Ingram of Philadelphia, PA; A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends including a devoted friend Shirley Jackson of Smithville, Georgia.
