Funeral Services For Mrs. Rosie Brown

John Thomas, Pastor Interment Poplar Springs Cemetery Preston Georgia OBITUARY Mrs. Rosie Brown was born in Webster County, Georgia on January 1, 1912 to the late Mr. Crawford and Angeline Andrews. At an early age she joined the St. Luke Baptist Church where she served faithfully until her health failed. She was educated in the public schools of Webster County. She was married to the late Willie Brown and together they had 15 children, 14 preceded her in death. “Grandma Dynamite” as she was affectionately called will always be remembered for her warm smile and friendly personality. Mrs. Brown died peacefully at her home on Thursday, April 15, 2010. She is survived by one son, Oscar Daniels of Plains, Georgia; 327 grandchildren, including 11 devoted grandchildren: Patricia (Raymond) Tookes, Kelvin (Jessica) Sims, Christopher (Vertrescia) Sims, George (Angela) Sims, Diane (Thomas) Ross, Leanne Sims, 1st Lt. Marco Brown, Irvin Daniels, Lawanna Ross, Cedric Ross and Ira Lee Walker; 241 great-grandchildren; 48 great great grandchildren; one son-in-law, George Sims, Sr.; one sister-in-law, Mrs. May Emma Crimes; one daughter-in-law, Annie Ola Ross; a devoted nephew, Leonard Muff; several devoted friends including Bertha Dice, Minnie Lee Sims, Irene Smith, Virginia Durham and William Andrews III. Several other relatives and friend also survive
