Donald E. Rooney, 72, of Williams, AZ, died May 31, 2009.
He was born May 18, 1937 in Malden, MA to Leo and Marion (Nelson) Rooney.
Donald served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War, he loved boating, hunting and fishing. The Rooney’s lived in Lake Havasu City for 32 years before moving to Williams.
He is survived by his loving wife, Margarte (Peggy Glennon) Rooney, daughters; Denise K. and Michelle M. Hook, sister; Katerine Neader, bothers Joseph; Lawrence; Richard and Robert Rooney, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Donald is preceded in deat by sons Donad E. Rooney, Jr., and Darren M Rooney, two brothers Thomas F and James K Rooney, one sister Barbara Pariseau
A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 790 Salem St., Malden, MA on Thursday, August 13, 2009 at 9:00 am.
