Ella White Seronde, 61 of Flagstaff, AZ died Sunday, June 28 in Navajo, AZ.
She was born October 26, 1947 in Tuba City, AZ to Charles and Sarah Yazzie. Ella’s maternal clan is Tsinaajinii (Black Streak Forest People) and paternal clan is Kiyaa’aanii (Towering House People).
Ella was a long time employee of WL Gore and Associates, was a loving mother and grandmother, she was a silversmith, weaver, a member of Native American Church and teacher.
She is survived by her daughters, Sanora Isaac, Sarah Del Seronde, Caroline Marie Seronde, sons Jordan J. Isaac, and Tsinajinni Jean Seronde, sisters Mamie Begay and Mary (Maloney) Oldman, brother Tony Yazzie, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am Thursday, July 2, 2009 at Citizens Cemetery, 1300 S. San Francisco Street, Flagstaff, AZ, a reception to follow from 1-5 pm at Timberline Fire Department Station (Doney Park) on North Highway 89.
