Haward Cole, 82, of Ash Fork, AZ died Monday, June 15, 2009.
He was born August 25, 1926 in Opp, Alabama to John and Peninsula (Thornton) Cole.
Haward serviced in the Navy during WWII and then servered in the Army and Air Force. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and working his land on his 1941 tractor.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years Jeanette, daughters Debbie Murphy, Tammy (Brantley) Doering, sons; Henry (Lisa) Hayes and Troy Cole, sister Myrtle Jones, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Haward is preceded in death by his parents John and Sula Cole, brother Willis, and sisters Lodie and Trudy B.
Visition will be Thursday, June 18, 2009 at 6:00 pm at Lozano’s Flagstaff Mortuary, 2545 N. Fourth St., Flagstaff, AZ. Graveside Servie will be Friday, June 19, 2009 at 11:00 am at Citizens Cemetery, veterans section. Veterans honors will be rendered by the, VFW #1709, Marine Corp League, Military Oder of the Purple Hearts, American Legion #3.
