Benjamin M. Padilla, 68, of Flagstaff, died at the Olivia White Hospice Home on Thursday, December 11, 2008, with his many family members by his side.  Mr. Padilla was born on March 31, 1940 to Carlos & Gomecinda (Maestas) Padilla in Concho, AZ.  He worked for and retired from the city of Flagstaff, he loved music and playing music for other people to enjoy.  Mr. Padilla is now playing in the Angels band.  Ben will be truly missed by all and especially his joke telling.
                                               
Mr. Padilla is survived by his companion and soul mate, Rosie G. Lugo, his children, Irene Montano, Carlos Padilla, Connie Padilla, sisters, Virginia Nuañez, Emily Tafoya, Nellie Peña, brother, Lelis “Alex” Padilla, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.  He is also survived by his extended family, the
Lugo and Quiroz families.  He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Mary Mora, brother, Juan Padilla.

A holy rosary will be held at
10:00 am with a funeral mass to follow at 11:00 am on Wednesday, on December 17, 2008 at St. Pius X Center, 2257 E. Cedar Ave.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Olivia White Hospice Home c/o Northland Hospice, P.O. Box 997, Flagstaff, AZ 86002-0997
