Phillip Barela Jaramillo, 84, of Williams, died Wednesday, January 28, 2008 at Flagstaff Medical Center.
He was born December 7, 1924 in Gallup, NM to Abelino and Josefita (Barrela) Jaramillo.
Phillip served in the US Army during World War II.
He is survived by by his children: Rebecca Guerrero, Jenny Gill, Celia Jaramillo, Lawrence Jaramillo, Phyllis Weaver, Patsy Hamilton, Christina Zabala, 19 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren.
Phillip is preceded by his wife Isabel Dominguez Jaramillo, daughter Beatrice Jaramillo Verwiel and grandson Herman Raymond Mendoza.
Holy Rosary will be Tuesday, February 3, 2009 at 9:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 900 W. Grant Ave, Williams, AZ followed by the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Williams City Cemetery, Veterans Honors provided by the American Legion Cordova #3 from Williams.
