Christobel “Chris” Maude Magill, 90, died Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Williams, AZ.
She was born November 16, 1919 in Safford, AZ to Samuel and Maude Paxton.
Chris worked over 38 years as a lookout for the Kaibab National Forest. In the 1930’s she was a Harvey Girl at the Grand Canyon.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Yrigoyen and son Matthew Magill, 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Chris is preceded in death by her husband William “Birdie” Magill, her parents, two brothers Douglas and Roy Paxton and her sister Wilma Kline.
A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Williams, 629 W. Grant Ave. (directly south of Safeway)
