Lorenzo “Larry” Garcia, Jr., 72, of Flagstaff, died Saturday, July 12, 2008 peacefully at home.
He was born April 27, 1936 in Carrizozo, New Mexico to Lorenzo R. and Utalia (Pacheco) Garcia.
Larry survived in the United States Air force, worked for Kennecott, APS and NAU, was a member of the Knights of Columbus, coordinating council for the MexAm Affairs, Little League and Pop Warner, he loved hunting, fishing, camping, local youth sports, touching the lives of the Flagstaff youth.
He is survived by his loving spouse Margaita Garcia, daughters, Sylvia Sedillo, Geri (Bob) Anderson, sons Dan (Jerri) Garcia and Lawrence Garcia, 3 sisters, 4 brothers, 6 grandchildren.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents Lorenzo Garcia and Benjamin and Utalia Acuna and sister Viola
Rosary will be held Wednesday, July 16 at 10:00 am at St. Pius X Center, 2257 E. Cedar Ave, Flagstaff, AZ, with a memorial mass at 11:00 am.
