Kathryn Marie Gallagher was born in Waukegan Illinois to John and Violet Callahan on August 10, 1920. She went to the Lord on July 26, 2008 She married Lt. John J. Gallagher in 1942. After World War II they moved from Chicago to sunny Arizona and left the snow behind. She was active in many philanthropic groups, especially The Assistance League of Phoenix. Kay was preceded in death by her husband, John and son, Kevin. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Maraschiello (Jack), four grand children and six great-grand children. There will be a celebration of life mass on Saturday, August 2nd at 11 AM at St. Patrick’s Church , 10815 N. 84th Street Scottsdale, AZ. Reception following. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
