How do I install the software? How do I unlock my software? How do I know I have the latest version? How will I know about updates? How often is the software updated and how is this handled? When you sign-up for the service, you will receive an email with your user-name and password. From our Members’ Area (www.directors-tribute.com/members) you can log-in and download the latest files. It’s as simple as a “click”. See the Quick Start online manual for details. When you purchase the software we will send you license key for your program and your music/graphics library. In the Quick Start manual, you’ll see how to unlock your software. Here is a brief explanation: First, copy the license key that we emailed to you onto your clipboard. Next open the VideoTribute software and click on the HELP button at the top. Next, click on the ENTER LICENCE KEY selection from the drop-down menu. A window will appear into which you paste the license key. Click the OK button and you’re done. How do I know I have the latest versions of the VideoTribute Program? Under HELP button select the last option in the drop-down menu (the ABOUT… button). This will display the software version you have. The most current version is published in the Members’ Area of Directors-Tribute.com How will I know about updates? Sign up for our newsletter by writing news@directors-tribute.com and entering “subscribe” in the subject line. That’s all you have to do. We’ll automatically register you. How often is the software updated and how is this handled? Updates are released 3 – 5 times per year. Emails are sent describing the new features. You can log-in to Members’ Area of Directors-Tribute.com and download new releases. Simply click on the download link and it will self-install. (Don’t worry, all of your old previously created VideoTributes will continue to work.)
