Fire Prevention Week - October 9-13, 2006   On Tuesday, October 10, 2006, The Zurich Fire Department brought in a "Fire Safety House", which helps to educate kids on the dangers of fire, as well as what to do in case of a fire.         The kids learned when there is a fire in their house, they first leave the house and  then...        Our kids learned if they are on fire, they :   First they watched a video and then a presentation was given inside the trailer on what to do during a fire.       To help show the kids what it would be like to be in a smoke filled room, the 'Fire Safety House' was filled with safety smoke.  The kids were led through the trailer to the back and were to go out the back window, with the aid of our firemen.         It was quite smoky in there! Kudos to the Zurich Fire Department for a job well done!
